Use "Refresh Rate" to control how often the video digitizer is accessed for brightness control. If your video digitizer does not handle auto-brightness, you can enter a value for Brightness Level. If you use a video camera with its own brightness control, you can leave both controls off for maximum efficiency. Closing the preview window(s) improves performance.
